Friendship Charter Between GUJARAT STATE NON-RESIDENT GUJARATIS FOUNDATION and ___________________

This Friendship Charter is made in recognition of the common interests, concern and historical ties which link the people of Gujarat origin with a firm belief that the contact and friendship established through this Friendship Charter would facilitate in achieving the below mentioned objectives for the mutual benefits of people Gujarat and members of _____________

• Establish an effective communication between Non-Resident Indians of Gujarat origin and the people of Gujarat.
• Study from time social and cultural issues of Non-Resident Indians of Gujarat origin enabling to formulate suitable schemes.
• Dovetail the technical and professional skills of Non-Resident Indians of Gujarat origin and to dovetail the same in the development efforts of the State.
• Tap the technological, managerial and financial resources of the Non-Resident Indians of Gujarat origin so as to upgrade the technical and professional skills and the human resource of the State.
• Channelise the savings and surplus financial resources of the Non-Resident Indians of Gujarat origin into the developmental efforts of the State for mutual benefits.
• Monitor the general welfare of Non-Resident Indians, identify specific problems and take up the same with appropriate agencies.
• Take up such other activties for mutual benefits of Non-Resident Indians of Gujarat origin and the people of Gujarat.

The modalities including financing of each activity taken up jointly will be agreed seperately in the manner which may deem fit by each side but both parties will make every effort to include as wide and representative a cross section of their respective stake holders as possible keeping inline with essence of this charter.

This Friendship Charter is made between the under signed being duly authorised representative of NRG Foundation, GUJARAT, INDIA and ___________ .It will take effect from the date of signing in duplicate in Gujarati and English languages both having equal validity.
